about

IGO is a photo studio founded in 2016 by Steven Mazzola and Coline Munier, based in Marseille, France. We are specialised in photography. Our clients range from design, home decoration, architecture and craftings. Our work doesn't follow and isn't limited by a predefined style or trend. On the contrary, our work is characterised by constant experimentation and renewal.

As we are based in Marseille, we found the perfect alliance of urban culture and the quiet and peaceful life of the South of France. This allowed us to develop our very specific approach made of spontaneous compositions, a unique atmosphere and sharp use of light and brilliant technique.

Due to the nature of the topics chosen for our works, individuals can have their own interpretation of the pictures. Pictures highlight items ones use in their every day life ; they testify of human activity and our consumption habits through still life. Our work is also a testament to the glorious age of the 00's which can also be considered an outdated generation. The core of our work is to picture items that have no obvious aesthetic qualities by adding absurd and subtle components in order to extract their beauty.

The results, displayed in series, is a continuous flow of images and creations bearing an uncanny ressemblance to Google Images or social networks.

To take some distances with the digital world and to go back to some levels of materiality, we launched Igologie, an experimental lab where we can express our creativity, display our work (objects, books, magazines, prints, etc.) and distribute them.
